The China-U.S. Health and Aging Research Fellowship Program aims to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery in China by developing the health services research capacity in that country, specifically through research projects conducted by trainees that are targeted to address Chinese health policy priorities.

Through a collaboration between the China Health Economics Institute (Beijing) and CHP/PCOR's Center for Demography and Economics of Health and Aging, the project aims to (1) provide a U.S.-based training program for new health services researchers from China, (2) provide joint U.S.-Chinese mentoring for trainee research performed as part of a degree-granting program in China, and (3) augment training and research opportunities in China on health services research through seminars, conferences and meetings.
