Daniella Perlroth is a board-certified internist and infectious disease physician. She is also a fellow with the VA Medical Informatics Fellowship program. She performs cost-effectiveness and economic analyses. She has studied the cost-effectiveness of mitigation strategies for pandemic influenza, including social distancing, and anti-viral treatment and prophylaxis strategies. Her work on influenza pandemics collaborates with Sandia National Laboratories and their network, agent-based model of infectious diseases, Loki-Infect commissioned by the Department of Homeland Security. She also works with Dr. Alan Garber of Stanford and Dr. Dana Goldman of the RAND Corporation on estimating the economic implications of comparative effectiveness research.
