Barrett Levesque joined CHP/PCOR in July 2008 as a trainee with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's Fellowship in Health Care Research and Policy. He is concurrently pursuing a fellowship in gastroenterology at Stanford. He is interested in using methods from cost-effectiveness analysis, meta-analysis, and outcomes research to study the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. He has conducted research on varied topics including HIV testing technologies, the cost-effectiveness of diagnostic strategies in Crohn’s disease, and long-term outcomes of capsule endoscopy in patients with anemia. . He received a BS in Neuroscience from Brown University, an MD from New York Medical College, and completed an internal medicine residency at Stanford. He is currently studying for a Master’s in Health Services Research at Stanford.
