Mercury News article on medical simulators cites Gaba's pioneering work

A Jan. 16 San Jose Mercury News article on the increasing use of simulators in medical education discusses the pioneering work of CHP/PCOR fellow David M. Gaba in this field, and includes comment from him discussing the benefits of simulation. Gaba is a professor of anesthesia at the Stanford School of Medicine, as well as associate dean for immersive and simulation-based learning at the medical school. He also directs the Patient Safety Center of Inquiry at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System.
