In news articles published in August and September 2005, CHP/PCOR associate Keith N. Humphreys discusses his recent experiences working with a team of Iraqi medical professionals to improve mental health services there. Humphreys -- an associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, who serves as the lead American addiction expert on the team -- discusses cultural differences and other challenges of treating alcohol and drug addiction in Iraq.
