Please join the Center for Innovation in Global Health, the Center for Health Policy, and the Global Health Research Foundation in welcoming former US Ambassador Dr. Jack Chow to a discussion on global health facilitated by Paul Costello, Chief Communications Officer for the School of Medicine.
Dr. Chow has served as Assistant Director General of the WHO, Special Envoy of WHO Director J.W. Lee, Special Representative for Secretary of State Colin Powell on HIV/AIDS, and led US diplomatic efforts to establish the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and malaria. We will discuss his perspective on issues of global health and diplomacy, learn about his career, and get advice about how we each can make a difference to improve the health and lives of people everywhere.
